Concrete is porous, which means it can harbor dirt and other contaminants, the reason why an industrial floor coating is ideal. Although concrete is strong, it can still be damaged from salt, spilled chemicals and steady foot or vehicle traffic. Epoxy will protect the floor as these concrete coatings stop all the aforementioned damages.

 

You may find the multi colored epoxy floor coating in the industrial area improve employee moral which may also improve productivity. Another benefit is that the floors won't need to be maintained as often since they hide plenty of dirt due to the multi colored finish. Most stains will wipe up due to the strength of chemical resistant topcoats used, like our polyurea 5073, chemical resistant urethane  You can even inlay your company logo into the industrial concrete to really make a statement!

 

We have a special line of epoxies that wick deep into the concrete floor surface that are ideal for priming old deteriorated industrial concrete floors. The 4150 vapor blocking epoxy bonds so well to the concrete floor that it will actually block out high levels of moisture vapor emissions which will help prevent non-breathable floor coatings like standard epoxy from failing. Most floor coatings will fail at 3 lbs of MVE.
